Essimply Limited provides a product guarantee on all handcrafted soaps, candles, and bath products. This Warranty Policy outlines what is covered, the duration of coverage, and the process for claiming a replacement or repair.
Our guarantee ensures you receive products of high quality that meet our standards. If a product fails to meet these standards, we will remedy the issue.
Coverage Scope
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. If a product arrives damaged, cracked, or defective due to our manufacturing process, we will replace it at no charge. This includes soaps that have separated, candles with manufacturing defects, or bath salts that have clumped due to production issues.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or improper storage by the customer. Products damaged by shipping carriers after dispatch are covered under our shipping damage policy, not this warranty.
Warranty Duration
The warranty period is 30 days from the date of purchase. Defects must be reported within this period to be eligible for coverage. Products showing signs of age or use beyond the initial 30 days are not covered by this warranty.
For products that have a natural expiration date due to their ingredients, the warranty applies only until the stated shelf-life expires.
What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, discolouration or fading due to exposure to light or heat, and changes to product consistency due to environmental conditions such as humidity. Soaps that have reduced in size due to normal use are not defects.
Products damaged by improper storage, such as leaving soaps in standing water or exposing candles to excessive heat, are not covered. Allergic reactions to product ingredients are also not covered by this warranty.
Claim Procedure
To claim warranty coverage, contact hello@essimply.com with your order number and a description of the defect. Include photos showing the issue clearly. We will review your claim within 5 business days.
If your claim is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the defective product. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will send a replacement at no charge, including return shipping.
Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, you must handle products with reasonable care. Store soaps in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture. Keep candles away from heat sources and drafts. Store bath salts in airtight containers to prevent moisture absorption.
Follow all product care instructions provided with your order. Failure to follow care instructions may void warranty coverage for resulting damage.
Replacement vs. Repair
Essimply Limited will determine whether to replace or repair a defective product based on the nature of the defect. Most handcrafted products cannot be repaired and will be replaced with a new item. For certain items, we may offer a refund in place of replacement at our discretion.
We will not charge for replacement products or return shipping when a valid warranty claim is approved. This is the exclusive remedy for warranty claims.
